The Overgrown Zone

I am pleased to share with you a project that I have recently completed during my free time. This project involved an attempt at a stylized art style, with inspiration drawn from the cel-shaded look of Borderlands. To achieve this, I followed a tutorial from Evans Bohl which enabled me to create two post-process materials for toon shading and another one for outlining.

This project was an extremely valuable learning experience for me, as it allowed me to gain insight into the potential of the post-processing system in Unreal Engine. I modelled most of the assets myself, with only a few Quixel assets being utilized.

I found working on this environment to be an extremely enjoyable process, and I am excited to begin work on my next project.
